Peer Review Process

As a publication of the As-Sibyan Journal, all submitted manuscripts must conform to the journal's focus, scope, author guidelines, and publication ethics. Manuscripts must be original, scientifically sound, and free from plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, and any form of unethical publication practice.

The publication process begins with manuscript submission (Submit) through the journal's online submission system. After the initial administrative screening, the editorial office will issue an Invoice for the article processing charge. Authors are required to complete the Payment according to the invoice. Upon successful payment verification, the journal will issue a Letter of Acceptance for Review (LOA) confirming that the manuscript has entered the editorial and peer-review process.

The manuscript will then undergo a double-blind peer review, in which both the authors' and reviewers' identities remain anonymous throughout the evaluation process. Reviewers assess the manuscript based on its originality, scientific contribution, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, and relevance to the journal's scope. Based on the reviewers' comments, authors may be requested to submit a Revision. The revised manuscript will subsequently undergo a second round of Review, followed by an additional Revision if necessary to ensure that all reviewer comments have been adequately addressed.

After the manuscript successfully passes the review process and meets the journal's academic and editorial standards, the Editor-in-Chief will make the final decision to Accept the manuscript for publication. The accepted manuscript will then proceed to the Copyediting stage, where language, formatting, references, and consistency are carefully checked to ensure publication quality. Finally, the manuscript will be scheduled for Publication in the upcoming available issue of the As-Sibyan Journal. Authors will be notified of each stage of the publication process through the journal's online system and official email correspondence.
