PENDIDIKAN KELUARGA DALAM PERSPEKTIF ISLAM UNTUK MEMINIMALISASI PERKAWINAN ANAK DI BRUNOSARI PURWOREJO

Abstract

Child marriage is still a social problem that still occurs in society today. Preventing this requires cooperation from various parties, especially the family. This research aims: First, to find out the family's understanding of child marriage. Second, to describe the implementation of Islamic perspective family education as an effort to minimize child marriage. Third, identify supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing Islamic perspective family education as an effort to minimize child marriage. This research is a type of qualitative research. Data collection technique; observation, interviews and documentation. Research subject; Head of Brunosari Village, Head of the Bruno District Religious Affairs Office, Purworejo Regency Religious Court Judge, Five (5) families who had child marriages and Three (3) families who did not have child marriages. The research results show: First, there are two understandings of family in the Brunosari community, there are families who agree with child marriage and there are those who do not agree. Second, the implementation of Islamic perspective family education in families in Brunosari Village through methods of example, advice, habituation, supervision and punishment, is able to minimize the occurrence of child marriage. This is proven by the fact that families who apply this educational method do not engage in child marriage. Third, supporting factors include adequate education and family economics. The inhibiting factors are the low level of education of parents and children, low economic income, and the child's social environment.
